Providing Assistance to Military Veterans Returning from Service
BloomNet is committed to giving back to the communities, the customers and the people we serve. As part of that commitment, along with 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, we are working directly with the armed services and with local governments to offer The Military Assistance Plan.
The Plan is an innovative program designed to make it easier for returning military veterans to enter or re-enter the private sector economy. Through the Plan, military veterans and their family members can receive business skills training in a variety of areas such as resume writing, job interview techniques, computer skills, basic and advanced sales strategies, and other courses. BloomNet Professional Florists and their family members are eligible to take part in this program.
